Over time, Caterina has developed an exceptionally multidisciplinary background. After earning her high school diploma from the Classical Lyceum of Pisa, she completed a year of national civic service with the Public Assistance of Pisa, obtaining certification as an advanced first responder and in the use of automated defibrillators.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Pisa, where she focused her thesis in Contemporary History on the journalistic portrayal of the Iranian Revolution and the 1979 oil crisis in the Italian newspapers Avanti! and L’Unità. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in International Relations and European Studies at the University of Florence.

Alongside her academic path, Caterina has enriched her education through a variety of extracurricular experiences closely linked to her field. She spent a semester abroad at the College of Public and International Relations in Prague through the Erasmus program, later she attended the Winter School of the “Piccola Scuola di Politica” in Florence, and she took part in a G20 simulation organized by ISPI (Italian Institute for International Political Studies) and Bocconi University in Milan. Beyond her academic and professional experiences, Caterina has always been deeply engaged in volunteer work and charitable initiatives. Until the age of sixteen, she volunteered at her parish, S. Cosimo e Damiano in Pisa, organizing activities for children and young people. From 2022 to 2025, she sang in the Voices of Heaven Gospel Choir, and since May 2025 she has been an active member of Oxfam Italia, taking part in a volunteer camp in São Tomé and Príncipe (Central Africa) within the framework of the European project “Ecoality.”

Throughout her studies, Caterina has also supported herself through various jobs, working as a barista, babysitter, library assistant, piano teacher, and student orientation tutor at the School of Political Science of the University of Florence.
